Designing a new collection is an elaborate process. It starts with an idea, continues with collecting references and inspiration and is brought to life with materials that add an extra dimension and help the ideas take shape. This time we will give you a glimpse of the last stage - in the making of Antelope Fall 2016 collection

 

The focus was on innovative techniques and materials, new and exciting colors and finishes. We are especially excited about an artisanal, unique technique that allows us to create a dye effect on natural sheets of leather and gives the color of the leather a beautiful uneven and almost rough texture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

With the production processes so heavily industrialized these days, we find that handmade processes with their little imperfections and almost raw finishes are rare, precious and perfect in their own way. With this method - each pair of shoes is unique and different. No person will have the same shoes and no pair is alike!  

 

We also paid attention to special finishes, such as a metallic spray on suede: the sheen gives an extremely refreshing and new feel this season.

 And of course, we could not forget about the colors! This season, in addition to traditional seasonal must-haves, we gravitated towards deep colored fall hues: deep bordeaux, rich tobacco and warm chestnut are among fall favorites. For the more daring fashionistas we added a bright electric blue and modern metallic shades.
