New Year’s Eve is one of those rare occasions when you really get to dress up and go all out.

This year there is a wide variety of party attire offered in sequined fabrics: from little black dresses to silver pant suits to more daring colorful going out tops. Velvet: Long gone are the days when velvet was considered a matronly choice. These days, it is one of the most fashion forward, lush materials that took evening wear by storm.
