On the Celeste it is cut to stand cleanly against the leg rather than collapse into folds, and the leather is brushed panel by panel so the Taupe reads warm in one light and cool in another. It is slower than spray finishing, and it is why no two pairs are identical. How tall is the shaft?
It rises well above the ankle to just below the knee, which is the height that works under a midi skirt and over a slim trouser alike. The leather is cut to hold that line rather than slouch.
Is a block heel comfortable for a full day?
Yes. A stacked block spreads weight across a much wider footprint than a slim heel, and at 1.5 inches the foot stays balanced instead of loaded onto the toes.
What does Taupe work with?
