The Q40 Drea wraps the foot in buttery luxury, and it is the softest pair of slingback wedge shoes in the collection. In a rich Chocolate tone, the closed toe covers the front while a slim back strap holds the heel, giving the ease of a mule with the security of a shoe. The nappa leather is extraordinarily soft from the first wear and conforms to the foot over time. Underneath, the wedge provides stable elevation without the pressure points of a conventional heel, and a cushioned insole adds another layer.

Nappa is the softest leather in the collection, which makes it the most demanding to build a wedge around. The Drea's upper is cut so the softness works with the shape rather than collapsing into it, and the wedge underneath gives the structure the leather deliberately does not. As wedge slingback shoes go this is the dressiest pair in the line, and the closed toe wedge shape means it carries into autumn rather than stopping at the end of summer.

Common Questions
How does a slingback differ from a mule?
A mule is completely open at the back. A slingback adds a strap behind the heel, so the shoe stays on without you gripping with your toes. It is the more secure of the two for walking any distance.
Is the wedge stable?
Yes. The wedge is a continuous sole, so your weight spreads across the whole footbed rather than balancing on a point. That removes the pressure spots and the wobble a conventional heel of the same height creates.
How does Chocolate compare to black?
It is warmer and less severe. Chocolate softens navy, charcoal and cream, and works particularly well with camel, olive and denim, where a hard black would cut the outfit in two.
